Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about placement, schedule, certificates, attendance rules, and payments.
Do I need prior experience?
No. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced tracks with clear learning outcomes. If you’re unsure, we’ll place you using a short intake form and a quick instructor check-in.
How do I choose the right level?
Start with Beginner if you haven’t studied acting fundamentals (listening, objectives, partner work). Choose Intermediate if you’re comfortable with scene beats and can take direction. Advanced is for actors ready for camera/industry-style feedback and faster iteration.
What gear do I need?
A stable internet connection and a device with a camera for online sessions. For voice classes, a quiet space helps. Headphones reduce echo, and a simple desk lamp improves facial visibility for scene work.
Do you provide certificates?
Yes. We issue digital certificates for pathway completions. Certificates confirm attendance and completion criteria, and include course title and dates.
Can I switch cohorts?
Subject to availability, you can request a switch before the second session. If you need to change time zones or schedules, tell us early so we can keep your progress continuous.
What happens if I miss a class?
If you miss a session, you’ll still get the homework and can ask questions in the next class. When possible, we’ll suggest a make-up option within the same cycle (availability depends on group size and timing).
How do payments work?
You can pay in one installment or choose a split option when available. Invoices and payment confirmations are sent by email. For corporate training, we can provide a formal invoice upon request.
Are classes online or in person?
We run online groups regularly and occasionally schedule in-person intensives. The current format is always stated on the course page and in the confirmation email.
Is the curriculum focused on theater or film?
Both—foundations apply across mediums. We build truthful acting through partner work and objectives, then adapt it for camera technique, timing, and audition-style material when the track includes on-camera modules.
Do you offer refunds?
Refund eligibility depends on timing and attendance. If you have a schedule conflict before the course begins, reach out—when possible we’ll help you switch cohorts or credit your payment to a later intake.
